    Ron,

Since about Monday or Tuesday of last week (12th - 13th Jan) I have to log in each and every time I visit the site. I ensure the "Remember me" is ticked but this doesn't help. I know its nothing i have done on my PC as I remain logged in on other sites and the same applies to when I log in from the office.

    Any ideas ?

    Jim

That's around the time I upgraded to DNN 5.0.  Just a sec, I bet the setting in the web.config got overwritten.

OK, should be fixed now.  You may need to log out and then log back in for the new timeout to take effect.

    Ron,

That did the trick, sorry it took so long to thank you but I've not had the time to log in since I posted.

    Cheers,

    Jim

I have been sitting here in front of my computer for over three days, waiting for your reply.  My wife brought me food and water,  but I could not rest until I found out whether or not you were able to log in.  Another 24 hours and I would have been forced to fly to the U.K. and check in on you in person.  I am much relieved to hear that you are well, and able to remain logged in.

    Ron,

Hope you haven't expired in the wait for my next reply

Perhaps you won't reply and instead knock on my door in the next few hours to enquire on my health -will have a pot of tea and toast awaiting you. Its a little cold, damp and wet here at the moment

Tea and toast are both sadly cold and lacklustre now...

Perhaps the 1/2" of snow we have had has put you off coming

You know, I *did* get on an airplane on Friday.  You can imagine my disappointment when it dropped me off in Seattle instead of London.

I would not have been disappointed at that exchange.

You would have been about 180 miles off target though as I'm further north just outside Liverpool
