Anyone up for a DL/OL quiz? Simply pose a question, easy, moderate or hard and the first person to get a correct answer sets the next question. If no right answers after a week, the question setter gets to gloat and set another.

we could set up a league table...

Ok, seeing no one wants to pose another question I will pitch up once more.

    This one is really obscure...

In which DL book did Bruce Willis slug it out with Sly Stalone and what was the result?

But the Terminator and Rambo will be starting tomorrow in the new action flick Escape Plan.

So, you're saying that whichever author penned this particular DL actually wrote these two actors names in this book? No way!

I give up. Being a huge fan of both actors, and a hardcore DL AND OL fan, I really think I'd recall this one. I don't recall anything about Willis and Stallone being actually named in any DL book.

With all due respect, I'm calling shenanigans.

    OK, the answer is...

    Fury's Pilgrims
    page 10
Doc Tanner confused again after a jump into the low gravity of a space station says
"...Old habits die hard. Yes, die hard two. Rambo four, close game that."

So the winner was Sly Stallone!!

I still like the way LJ played with Docs mind!

Answer, as no one appears to read Outlanders here either...

    from the Oulanders Archive...

The ROAMer, or Recorders of Alien Manipulation. underground tried to create and give such information to the media. The reporters of Alien Manipulation had been a fist in the face of the Western States Collation or the WSC since the remnants of Congress had migrated to Santa Fe, New Mexico, and set up the provisional Government after the nuclear weapons ceased detonating.

    from Night Eternal.

I think you and I, Jim, are the only ones who read Outlanders still. (I am the only one proving that fact here!)

With that written, (or typed, more like), the first sentence is: 'Once called the land of the free, in the aftermath of the Russian-American conflict in that end--of-the-world year 2001, it became the Deathlands.'
