i have read the complete series and there is something mentioned in many books that has me stumped.  In which novel did Kane kill one of Bridget's relatives.  I have reread and studied the series and I can not find the answer to my question.  Can someone shed some light on this occurance?  Thank you.

That would be Armageddon Axis. Kane killed Dian who was Brigid's great-great-aunt and had been living in the Anthill.

One of the classic books in the series...definitely one of Mark's best.

"It's better to have a blaster and not need it than to need it and--" "Oh, spare me," Brigid said irritably. (Kane and Brigid Baptiste from Armageddon Axis)
