I'm about 25% of the way through and finding it hard going. I wouldn't say its the worst DL I've ever read (so far) but its in the bottom 5.

It is slow, pointless and lacks the holding power the likes of Cannibal Moon and  the LJ era.

Then again it is another Andy Boot effort so need I say more?

Poop is prettier.

Taking 20 pages to get through a sandstorm almost did it for me.  I decided to skim after page #5 of that little ordeal.  Later the dream thing started; about 120 pages and 10 minutes later I finally got passed that boring and meaningless disaster.  Then there came the ending; any thoughts of this train wreck improving were soon flattened.

The book went into the trash.

It was bad.  Very bad.

The next book, Blood Harvest, should cure what ails you.

It is written by Chuck Rogers, and I know he never writes boring or bad books. Ever.

The description of Prophecy sounds familiar, I think I must have half-read it a few months ago and never bothered to finish. Blood Harvest, on the other hand, is excellent so far. I am about three chapters in and loving it.
