Ambika

This genetically engineered woman first appeared in Wreath of Fire.

Ambika stood at six feet tall in height.  A beautiful and powerful woman all the same.  Her flesh was dusky complexion.  As powerfully built as she was, she was also very feminine. Perfect curves, large breasts and a plain animal sultriness that few women could have ever hoped to achieve. Her hair was blue-black, thick and luxurious, held by a pearl band. Last but not least she had aqua blue eyes. 

Her typical dress consisted of Tight Blue leather pants, a white shirt with belled sleeves and a draw string front, and knee high black boots that added at least two inches to her overall height.

Her father was a man named Wil Longley. He was part of mission Invictu. He used genetic material from the most perfect human specimens that he could obtain in the years before the holocaust. He knew it was coming, and had built a small retreat in the Rockie Mountains. He kept duplicate files stored in this redoubt. He was revived in 2147 and twenty six years later, in 2173 Ambika was born, the collimation of all his work and research.

Her father taught her everything he knew about fighting and the art of warfare.  He even brought in outlanders, those who possessed exceptional fighting skills to teach her 

At fourteen, in 2187 she was fully grown and began to carve out her empire. At first few people would willingly follow a young woman, even fully grown as she was. Those who challenged her, died, and the others quickly fell into line.

The very first ville she ever took over didn't last.  She wasn't able to care for them properly, and there wasn't enough food.  Many of the ville inhabitants died at one another's hands when it fragmented. She vowed to never allow that to happen again.

She had been wounded several times, and almost killed a handful of others.  But due to her genetic engineering, no scars marred her flawless flesh. The closest she came to dying was an assassination attempt in 2196 when an organization of free traders objected to the stranglehold she had on the area. After she recovered, she tracked down each and every one of them and killed them with her own hands. 

She arrived through a gateway located inside a redoubt on the Columbine island, in the chain known as the western isles.  She arrived in 2189, and quickly set out to carve out an empire for herself, which she succeeded in doing.  She quickly became known as the Lioness of the isles.

On the island, the first thing she did was to make sure that the Gateway was intact. They secured it and then set about repairing the buildings and establishing their home port. For a while they lived on the ships they had built or salvaged for themselves. During the first two years invaders drove them from the island three times. The third and final time they retalliated, killing everyone.  They left the corpses in an open common grave where the animal and sea life could take them. A month later, after the bodies had been reduced to bones, Ambika had her people harvest the bones and build a bridge out of them.

Just after she established herself, Wei Qiang attacked her. Right after the fight, she walked into Dai Jia Lou, the biggest gaudy in the city of Autarkic and confronted Wei then and there. She killed one of his captains right in front of him, then destroyed two of his ships in retaliation. 

It didn't stop him, he sent several ships after her people. Every time, she kept to her word. For each ship she lost, she destroyed two of his.

Amazingly enough, if it wasn't for their rivalry, they could be friends. Even now she occasionally exchanges gifts with him, typically art objects that are salvaged from old Chinatown in the ruins of San Francisco.

She plans on eventually controlling all of the Outlands, and wants to hunt down and kill all of the nine barons.  Those in the baronies will be given a choice, follow her, or the barons and die.

Oddly enough, for a woman of her stature and power, she had never been with a man.  Kane was her first. After he subdued her, she was able to escape and plans on getting her revenge on him. Not only for tricking her the way he had, but for destroying the ship she had salvaged, the Octopus Lotus.

She also hoped to be carrying his child.
