Beth Li Rouch

This oriental beauty first appeared in Savage Sun, just as Rouch. She wasn't fully introduced until Parallax Red.  Her soul purpose when she was brought to the redoubt was to mate with Kane and produce offspring to help populate the redoubt. She was in her mid twenties, her nose and ears were small and delicate and her jet black hair dropped to her waist.  She had a very sensual body and used all her feminine whiles to try and bed with Kane.  When he refused her advances she took it very hard and began to scheme on how to either get him, or get rid of him.  Lakesh actually attempted to help her when he agreed that both her and Auerbach leaving the redoubt. They were captured by the natives near by and Kane was forced to fight one of the warriors to get Beth li back. Still it didn't work. 

Things only went from bad to worse with her.  Several times she attempted to seduce Kane, and almost succeeded, but in the end he always turned her down. This added to her frustration. She tried to bring it to a head in Hellbound Fury when she attacked Kane and Brigid in his quarters. He was shot, but not badly. Beth Li is disarmed and taken into custody. Although Brigid asks her to voluntarily to stay in her quarters. Beth Li apologizes, although it is simply a ruse. 

Eventually, Beth li conspired with Auerbach (after seducing him) to help her kill the others while they were jumping in the alternate casements. She attempted to get the assistance from Wegmann, and he played along with it, in order stop her.  The assassination attempted didn't succeed.  In the end, she is killed by Domi after a vicious fight. She is buried outside the redoubt.
