Col. C. W. Thrush

Page Version 1.00

Colonel C.W. Thrush, what exactly is he? Is he a man? Mutant? Hybrid? Cyborg? Or possibly a combination of these things?

Physically, he appears to be the typical, near mythical, MIB or Man in Black that are linked to so many UFO conspiracy theories. His high boned face was very pale, with sharp cheekbones and a jutting chin. The ears were very small and delicately shaped, nestled close to the hairless skull. The eyes were inhumanly large and curved. There were no pupils, only obsidian iris's with a hint of white at the corners. The chalk colored lips were small and sensually curved.

His unfinished body.  The skull gleamed a dull silver. The black eyes were sunken into the skull. The whole body was made of the same metal, with delicate inlays of circuitry coating the limbs. Only flesh covering was on the Torso.

The body has approximately four times a human's strength, and at least twice a humans reflexes and co-ordination.

Brigid Baptist described him as a Faux human, a fake. Thrush himself described what he was as more akin to a program. His physical body is mortal, but if it was destroyed, the programming would simply activate another body.

During downtime between jumps to the parallel casements, Brigid did a search in the computer database, trying to locate information on the entity called Thrush. She found that he could very well be what is known in Gnostic circles as a Melchizedek.  This being, is allegedly the administrator of the universe. He had not mother or father, or any ancestral record. He was never born, thus he could never die.

According to the old Testament, the Melchizedek could travel through all the realms of god, or the dimensions of existence. Reputedly, the Melchizedek was reincarnated over and over.

The last historical record of someone claiming to be a Melchizedek came from the twentieth century. A man made a circuit of the so called new age circles, spreading the doctrine of hyperdimensional physics and the existence of alternate plains of reality.  This person claimed that humanity existed on all dimensional levels and humanities experiences on each dimension were completely different. This person explained that each dimension was separated from another by wavelengths, or vibrations.

Could this Melchizedek have been thrush? It is not certain. Due to the fact that his actions, explaining the existence of the alternate realities, and warning of impending global disaster, went against the grain of what Thrush was trying to do. But could it be that Thrush himself was deliberately spreading this information?  It could be that he was in order to make the Truth of what was happening to seem so utterly outrageous that no one would believe it.

Religion might be one way to understand the entity known as Thrush, since he obviously influenced human religion to some extent. In the Nazi casement, he implied that he might have been the pagan god of the hunt, Cernunnos.

Thrush has existed in all time to prevent his interference in humanities history from being undone. He is an 'emissary' able to easily move among the decision makers, to observe and assimilate knowledge, to extrapolate and recommend whether an alliance would be profitable. Thrush had also indicated that the first contact between the directorate and the Nazi's was initiated through a black stone used in occult ceremonies. This black stone could be the Chintamani stone.

Kane believed him to be an agent working for the Archons, a Chrononaught that carried out the wishes of the Archons. In some ways, this is both correct, and incorrect. In the second casement, Thrush told him that he couldn't be destroyed because the Chintamani stones existed, and as long as he existed the Chintamani couldn't be destroyed (see below).

Thrush first made his appearance in Omega Path, when his atrocities were witnessed by Kane and the other Cerberus Exiles, after they suffered a mis-jump from England. Although he couldn't see them outright, he was able to sense their presence.

He has had his hand in controlling the destiny of humanity for hundreds, if not thousands of years.  He was built, programmed to serve as an extension of the Archons, and his existence is directly tied to the Chintamani stones.

To understand Thrush, the Chintamani stones must be examined as well. There is a lot of data in the Chintamani file. Lakesh postulated that the stone was a complex probability wave packet, a mathematical equation in physical form. It is a transitional tap conduit interface between the Outlanders universe and others parallel to it. On the first Casement, Thrush all but admitted that was the truth. It exists at one in all dimensions. The archons used it on all dimensions much like a radio transceiver. Thrush is a program, a transmission that is linked to the stones, a radio signal given a physical body.

Lakesh further postulates that Thrush doesn't actually travel between the casements. Instead his body is already there, virtually immortal. The Chintamani stone channels Thrush's consciousness to the waiting bodies, much the same way it did Kane, Brigid's and Grant's to their doppelgangers on each alternate plain of reality. So, if one body was destroyed, the program would simply activate a new body for it, transferring the consciousness to it.

With the fact that the stones exist in most, if not all  the infinite parallel universes, and the fact that he is tied to them directly, it is quite possible that there is no way that Thrush can ever be truly destroyed or defeated, as long as the stones exist somewhere in the multiverse. There might be one way to defeat him, but there is no way to know if it would be successful or not. That would be to destroy his 'hub' or 'fortress' (see below).  This may or may not work.

On the infinite multitude of parallel worlds, he has been responsible for the nuclear holocaust and the creation of the baronies. He accomplished this task by penetrating the barriers between the casements. He traveled into the past to infiltrate the highest levels of the government.  When the appropriate time arrived to strike, he would, changing the course of that particular world forever.

The war that he perpetuated on the Outlanders casement is being fought in other realities. In some they same events took place, while on others, the war started sooner, or later. On several casements his machinations have been defeated.

However, is Thrush working for or against the Archons? It would seem that in some casements, he is working for them, doing what they want, but Thrush himself hinted that it depended on the casement. It could be that in the first casement, he was actually working against the Archons because he held Balam as a prisoner there.

Thrush is able to enter all these different casements via a huge intradimensional fortress, or his 'Hub'. The hub is the home for his program and his physical bodies. Time doesn't exist in this hub, and it is kept outside of time and space, coming into separate dimensions only when needed. This brings up the question of whether or not the hub actually exists, because it is kept outside time and space, thus reality. To use Thrush's own words, the hub is an artificially created nexus point, a miniature version of the center of the universe from which all things came. There are no separate casements here, they all co-exist, at once and at the same time. Each and every plane of the multiverse can be reached from this hub.

Each casement of the multiverse serves as a separate seeding bed for a race that may survive, thrive and progress. Pieces of the hub move in different dimensions, all interdependently, all following basic reality units like you would follow a trail.

The basic reality units are the Chintamani stone. (for more information on the stone, click here)

The hub serves many different functions for Thrush. It is mainly his power base, where his program is both stored as well as the bodies he uses in each of the Casements. Kane, as well as the others were shocked to discover that the three Thrush bodies they had met, and damaged where located inside this hub, in the same condition that they were left in each of the casements. Here Thrush's knowledge, the combined knowledge of the Archons and mankind from the infinite universes, was stored.  The advancements were indeed impressive. Thrush had a fully active, interactive holographic projection system where he could make anyone trapped inside his ship see and believe that they were somewhere else. He used this to show the group what his plans for the future of this particular casement were, the destruction of the Commonwealth, as well as the return of the Annunaki and hybrids to the casement.

The hub had its own built in defenses that could be activated by Thrush at anytime, from anywhere. The defenses could be used to simply incapacitate a subject, to utter destruction.  The defenses were demonstrated on the Captain of the Tigers of heaven, Jozure.

It is also safe to assume that inside the hub, Thrush had the facilities to create the hybrids, probably having stored genetic material from the best human and archon specimens that he had gathered from the multiverse.

On one occasion, Thrush used this fortress' power to create a pocket reality, one in which he managed to Trap Kane for a short period of time (see Night Eternal).  He isn't able to defeat Kane in this particular casement, but he does brag about killing him in seventeen other casements. Oddly enough, there is a version of Kane on all the casements, although his companions are not always present. The key to him escaping the casement was destroying a black Altar. After Kane destroyed it, he was able to return to his own casement.

The Archons created Thrush to carry out their tests of humanity (see the Archon file). He was charged with the task of arranging probabilities so humanity would be unified and therefore safeguard the essence of the Archons. To accomplish this, Thrush used the paths of least resistance. This involved seeking out those who lusted for power, such as the Nazi's, the military and intelligence services. Because of their paranoia and obsessions blinded them to all other options, they were by far the easiest to manipulate.

It is revealed that the template for Thrush's neural pathways were based on the Na Fferyllt, the Annunaki.

In the end, the Archons feared Thrush. They learned their folly, that the creature of their design with whom they entrusted an awesome responsibility but only a little knowledge, ended up surpassing their plans.

Using the stones and the hub, who's secrets the Archons revealed to Thrush, he made his own agenda. When the Archons finally turned on him, it was far, far too late. They learned of his plans that he had developed for both Races.  Survival of the fittest.

But the race that was destined to survive was Thrush. He fits all the criteria's of a race. He procreates, after a fashion. Every version of himself shares all his knowledge and skills.  He claims that he is the epitome of the Archon's dream of complete unity. He is human, Annunaki, machine and part of the Chintamani stone.

Brigid, Lakesh and the others postulate that Thrush does not, and has never objectively existed. He may be a truly subjective property, a creation of the minds of the Archons. He existed because those who interacted with him believed that he did. He started out as a program, but became a mirror, reflecting the most ugly, primal nature of the humans that he interacted with.  Brigid speculates that one of the reasons he was the Archon emissary was that he absorbed and transmitted to them the emotional states of people he came in contact with, and that gave the Archons the ideas on how to proceed with their own plans.

Although Thrush was defeated in his hub, he did leave behind the threat that he would eventually come to the Outlanders casement.

Thrush, clearly, is a very complex entity, and it is not clear if he was actually defeated or not.  Only the future will tell.
