Crawler

Crawler is a Doomie, a psi mutant that is the personal servant and advisor to Baron Sharpe.  He is incredibly old, well over a century as he had been a pet in the original Baron Sharpe's zoo one hundred years before. He was first encountered in Parallax Red.

The original Baron Sharpe had him crippled, his Achilles tendons cut so that he couldn't run away. Since then, the Doomie's legs atrophied and became useless pieces of flesh hanging from his lower torso.  

His torso and arms are thickly muscled and he wore leather harness and a velvet loincloth. Thick calluses covered the mutants elbows, due to years of getting around on them. His eyes were either black or deep brown.

The mutant is more than a pet, but less than human, but is well cared for and even pampered by Baron Sharpe.

The mutant can read surface thoughts, and can easily sense emotion and makes the perfect lie detector.
