    The Spur? Just noticed he has this Outlanders-like book out on Amazon.

    I have it. I started reading it, but didn't get past the first chapter. That's not an indictment of the book at all, I just got pulled away with other family issues and never got back to it. Still sitting (very deep) on my to-read pile.
