The Human/Archon Hybrids
The Hybrids are a mixture of human and Archon Genes. They were created to replace humanity, as the last ditch effort for Balam's race to survive. They were created and born in the Dulce New Mexico redoubt.
Physically they are usually under six feet in height and are quite slender. When they move it is usually very graceful. The flesh is pale and they tend to wear simple gray jump suits or in the case of the barons, skin colored jump suits with capes.
The head is overly large and most hybrids are hairless. The head is larger than a humans but smaller than the Archons. The eyes are generally similar shaped. From what is known, they are generally golden colored.
When the hybrids talk their voices tend to be rather high and musical.
The Hybrids do not eat the way the humans do. They sit in baths of nutrients made from blood and organs as well as chemicals. Their skin absorbs this substance and they gain the nourishment that they need to survive from it.
Like the Archons, the Hybrids are not quite as study as humans and can be injured quite easily, and are prone to disease. A trade off for their superior intellect.
It appears that there are two types of Hybrids. The barons who are the peak of the hybrids and rule over everyone, including their fellow hybrids. Only the other Barons are equal to them in their eyes. The other hybrids, the ones that are found in the Dulce New Mexico redoubt seem to be subservient to the Baron hybrids, bowing and obeying every order, and refer to the Barons as 'My Lord Baron'.
