Encounter is the book im looking for is it the first book if you have it let me know i will buy it.

Encounter is a sort of Prequel to the DL series with a number of short tales and notes about the DL series early days.
Both Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.com have used copies for sale.
I have a copy but sadly I'm not going to part with it.
