    I  was thinking it might be cool to start a thread, for things that are in the real world that are mentioned in the Deathlands books , like tech and weapons ,vehicles, different survival skills or places you have been to that the companions visited.     Veracruz, the primary setting of the current book Dark Resurrection.  A major port of call for the Matachin.

    Veracruz - Fort San Juan de Ulúa, one of the primary locations used in Dark Resurrection.  Special bonus to folks who criticize lazy writers:  this locale was obviously extensively researched to become a setting for the book (as noted by the author's note on the copyright page), and that extra effort really pays off.  Trashy pulp fiction doesn't have to be bad or lazy, and this proves the point.
