Do you live near to places mentioned in the books?

    I was wondering if any of you live near to any of the locations visited by the DL or OL crews? If you do, have you ever gone looking for landmarks or villages/towns listed in the books(assuming they are not all fake names ) to see what they look like in real life.

    I live in Liverpool England which is the site of New London in the OL books. Mark changed the way the city looks quite a bit despite the war and 200+ years.

    Other than that I visited Doc Tanners birthplace when on holiday in the US, can't say if that has changed as its not been discribed in the books.
