I remember in one book (cannot remember which one) that Doc's past was mentioned and in it they alluded to the fact that Doc's children died shortly after he was trawled forward. I was just wondering if some other reader who has read more books than me knows what happened to them. Just something that always bugged the back of my mind and I have never run across it again!

We learn a lot about Docs past in Crater Lake one of the very early books. I recall we learn more in one of the later books but I don't recall which. I personally don't take the post LJ books (with the exception of Marks DLs) as being canon so don't really recall whichbook that was.

Dark Emblem had a focus on Doc's past, maybe it was in that one.

That's the other book I count think the title of. Thanks for jogging my memory, I will have to remember read that one again even if it is none canon - to me anyhow. Then again it does sort of cross over with OL...
