So, after finishing giving the site a face lift I also made the decision to commit to a weekly blog. I am calling it PostApocalyptica, and it will be dedicated to the apocalyptic genre in film, television, and literature as well as subjects related to Gold Eagle and to writing in general (which I think is kind of hysterical since I am *not* a writer...). Each new entry will go up at 9am Eastern Time on Monday mornings.

Tonight I also added a logo for the blog, which is just all kinds of awesome. It was crated by Michael Montoure, whose blog is at http://www.bloodletters.com/. Michael is a graphic designer, web developer, published author, and most recently the author of the upcoming web series Causality (read more about it at http://www.WatchCausality.com). When I asked if he could do a logo for me, my only instructions were "something that screams every bad Mad Max knockoff ever filmed in the desert with no budget". I have to say, the result was truly awesome:

So, a huge thank you to Michael Montoure. I hope you all enjoy the new blog. Please feel free to comment with any suggestions or criticisms. I think it is going to be a fun adventure, and I am really hoping you will all come along for the ride.

The logo is the epitome for the existentially challenged - kudos!

    Ron,

Should the blog entry not say "Beginning on JULY 4th" not "June 4th" ?

Other than that, it looks rather good. I'm not one for blogs and stuff but I will try to keep up with this one.
