Greeting! (neat site by the way).
I seem to remember in one of the books that when the main characters were doing sentry duty they had a system worked out to identify if one of their group was under duress. I think they would identify themselves with a name starting with an A (Adam for example), to show that they were ok and alone. They would use a B or C name to represent other things. I can't remember how this went so could some please educate me?
Thanks in advance.
Oops, this is a dupe.
Welcome aboard
Like lots of things in DL this was mentioned and explained (by Ryan and J.B to Dean (remember him ?) I think quite a while back), and then promptly forgotten about by the next book.
I cant remember the fine detail of it but you are correct in thinking it was and A B C system.
I used to be a real DL geek and knew all these odd things but sadly I now have a life and like all the post Laurence James authors have forgotten all but a few of the fine details.

Oh and I think this should go in the DL section -just to keep my OCD happy
