I have seen this frequently. Basically, the print runs for these books are comparatively small. They print as many copies as they think will sell during the shelf life of the book (only a month or two, until the next book comes out). Once they are gone and out of print, rare book sellers jack up the price significantly. Please note, though, that although they are *listing* at that price, I sincerely doubt that they are *selling* at that price.

Your best bet for older books in the series are local used book stores.

Thanks for the reply I am sure I will find it someplace. I do not mind people making money but at times there are those that really take advantage of it. I am pre-ordering my books from now on.

Don't worry your not missing anything with this book.In my honest opinion this was a bad one.
