The Sig P226 that Ryan carries does not have a safety.  Ryan sometimes clicks off the safety pryor to an engagement, but the 226 does not have a safety.

How can Ryan click off the safety if you say his one doesn't have one?

Your post makes no sense at all.

That's his point - the Sig doesn't have a safety, but some authors apparently don't know this and state that he actively clicks the safety off. Honestly, that's one of the smaller mistakes I've ever seen with the books, though still something that could be avoided with a little research.

The SIG P-226 has a decocking lever that drops the hammer when finish loading or shooting. No manual safety on them.
