Sorry about the disruption this morning.  I upgraded the website to DotNetNuke v5.4.1 and initially the upgrade went very poorly.  I eventually got it worked out, and everything looks good now.  Please let me know if you encounter any problems.

I did encounter a problem with traffic on the way home tonight. Is that the sort of problem you want to know about?

Baz, you would be * amazed* at the kind of real-world problems that can ensue when the computers break down. Butterfly effect and all that. Sorry about the traffic.

I ain't taking the blame for London beer, though.

Ron, kudos to the upgrade and the beautiful cover art sans graphics. Great job!

    Ron,
Superb addition. Although, watching the cover slide show I was reminded of how jealous I always was of the OL covers. One of the few things GE did right, IMHO.

I'm glad you all like the new rotating banner. I fell a little bad, because Outlanders outnumbers Deathlands by a margin of four to one. It just happens that I have access to a bunch of raw OL covers, but only three of the DL covers. If any of you GE connected folks have access to some raw DL cover artwork and want to float it my way, I would really like to show Deathlands a little more love on the home page.

I'd like to think that part of it was my involvement suggesting loose designs and cover elements and ways to differentiate the OL covers from DL--no close-ups of dirty old boots, for one thing.

I was  pretty engaged with the cover art from the get-go. For example, it was my idea to prominently feature the "babe of the book", sort of as homage to all of those great covers by Robert McGinnis.

Speaking of web-sites...Cryptozoica.com will be going live in the next week or so. Lots of good art there, too.

The cover art slide show takes the front page up a good few levels.

    Nice one Ron.

Sorry for the sarcastic reply -I was in a quite sarcastic mood when I posted that.

I am always in awe of your sortware manipulation skills.

I just added several new images to the slideshow, including several DL images thanks to Baz. The ration is about 2:1 in favor of OL still, but at least Deathlands puts in a decent showing now. The slideshow runs over two minutes before it starts repeating.
