0 Replies and 4356 Views Black Treacle  4356  0 Started by  Ron Miles For anyone who is interested, there is a new Canadian magazine called Black Treacle that showcases '... Horror, Dark Fantasy, and Speculative Fiction.' The first issue is just out as of the middle of February, and one of the stories in it is written by current Outlanders scribe Rik Hoskin - A Little Piece of Heaven. Of the five short stories featured there, I liked four of them. I thought one of them was too clever by half; Although the writing itself was solid, I could see what the author was ...

4 Replies and 4155 Views Companion's weapons over the years.  4155  4 Started by  twinsrule26 Hello , I was hoping someone could point me , to a thread that lists the weapons that the companions have carried or used over the course of the series .  I'm looking for a weapons list of things that they used as a regular weapon not something they picked up in battle . Also I seem to recall that Doc carried a 36 cal. Lemat at one time and I can't find when and where he switched to a 44 cal. one. Thanks

1 Replies and 5066 Views Has anybody read these post-holocaust novels?  5066  1 Started by  Maximus I just finished Justin Cronin's The Passage and brand-new novel, The Twelve. They were both good, even though many times I got angry at the writer's lack of detail towards the Twelve giant vampires that destroyed the world. I applaud him on his epic-feel and numerous characters that were mostly interesting. That's a helluva lot of characters to keep up with! I didn't think the action parts were bad, but after reading such greatly written action books that are dedicated to this website, they we...
